This is the most ambitious collection of Itoh Seiu’s work that I am aware of.
Large format, hardbound book with exclusive paper, in a cloth slipcase enclosed in a cardboard box. Very limited edition, copies numbered by hand (this is number 286)
”Seme No Kenkyu II / Research on Torture II” by Itoh Seiu (1950)
Not a Photo-book as such, but this copy came with a supplement: an original photo taken by Itoh Seiu himself. I understand there is an earlier book from 1928 with the same title, that did contain images, but I have not been able to find a copy.
